Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 July 2026
By installing or using FanoutFox (the "extension"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The extension is free
FanoutFox is provided free of charge. There's no account to create and nothing to pay. We may change, pause or discontinue it at any time.
Provided as is
FanoutFox reads and analyses your own AI search sessions. AI platforms change their internal formats often and without notice, so the extension's output may occasionally be incomplete or out of date. The extension is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. You use it at your own discretion, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use or from decisions made on the basis of its output.
Acceptable use
Use FanoutFox only with your own sessions, on your own accounts, and in line with the terms of the AI platforms you use it alongside. FanoutFox never sends prompts on your behalf and automates nothing; don't pair it with automation or bulk-collection tools that do. Don't use it to break another service's terms, and don't attempt to resell or misrepresent it as your own.
Third-party platforms
FanoutFox is an independent tool. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to OpenAI, Perplexity or any other AI platform, and their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
The extension works by reading, in your own browser, the sessions you're already signed into, and it sends nothing to us or anyone else. AI platforms' own terms restrict how their services may be accessed, including programmatic access, and those terms are an agreement between you and the platform. You're responsible for your own use of those platforms. They change their formats and policies without notice, a platform may object to tools like this one, and if that happens features may stop working or be modified or withdrawn. None of that creates any liability on our side.
What installing means
By installing FanoutFox and granting the permissions Chrome asks for, you consent to the extension reading the AI search sessions in your own browser on the sites listed in those permissions, and analysing them locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling removes the extension and every trace of its data. The privacy policy explains this in full.
Intellectual property
The FanoutFox name, logo and the extension itself belong to their author. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The current version always lives at this page, with the date above.
